Children’s Program from Building Blocks Early Childhood - 27/11/2008

Building Blocks Early Childhood Centres provides high quality childcare service that gives children an environment filled with fun and learning. They present children’s program which emphasises on basic skills along with other developmental skills.
Other than fundamentals such as language, literacy and maths, the children’s programs are prepared to emphasise on the creative arts such as artwork and music. Development of life skills, problem solving and investigation skills are also taught in this place. This children’s program is created as per the child’s needs, wants and interests. Team members also encourage individual differences, interests, styles and rates of learning among children. The classroom which these children are allotted has a weekly program which is prepared by Early Childhood Teachers. According to the age and level of children, appropriate programs are prepared so that they learn and enjoy to the maximum extent. For instance, a school readiness program for children in their final year prior to entering kindergarten at school is held.
Children are also offered a range of activities like pre-reading, pre-writing, pre-maths, pre-science, music, creative arts and language development sessions where they develop skills.
Children need to see, touch, smell and feel in order to learn and understand things. So they are given with a chance to play indoors and outdoors. They encourage children’s independence and aim to increase their awareness of the community and people around them.
