Addison Road Child Care Centre is one of Australia’s largest community centres. Their centre was established in 1976 and has had a flourishing success in providing excellent quality services for their customers. Proving its genuine results and originality in services in 2003 their centre entered a 50 year lease with the NSW state government.
Addison Road Child Care Centre offers an extraordinary range of activities in the arts, culture, community and environmental fields. Individuals as well as organisations can work together to achieve results in any specific field. Through their programs children gain a vast amount of knowledge about their culture and communities and are shown to accept the diversity in the culture around them. They are also shown the importance of the environment by helping them learn how to protect their environment and make it a healthier place for people to live.
Children who are art lovers are showcased varieties of arts and crafts for them to learn with, making of sculptures that are outstanding and unique creations. Children at a young age are enthusiastic learners and are inspired by the environment around them. The activities provided give children the knowledge and useful measures to attain self-sufficiency amongst people.
Other than these activities Addison Road Child Care Centre offers facilities for community members to hold their gatherings. They offer the Great Hall which has moveable seating, kitchen and bathroom facilities for all participators. Along with educational activities games for children, fun fair events and play area offers children a place where they are motivated to work as well as play.
